THE ORIGIN OF MESHKAA

The roots of Meshkaa trace back to the endearing nicknames and cherished memories shared by two sisters:Sara and Aisha.Growing up, Aisha and Sara always felt a deep connection to their nicknames, given to them by their lovingfather. Aisha was fond of apricots from a young age, and in Arabic, the term for apricot is “mish-mish.” Thislove for apricots led her father to affectionately nickname her “Mish.” Sara, on the other hand, was known forher joyful laughter that could light up a room. Her father gave her the playful nickname “Ka,” capturing the veryessence of her infectious giggles.As they ventured into the world of fashion, the sisters wanted a brand name that not only encapsulated theirshared past and individual idiosyncrasies but also paid tribute to their father, who had been a significantsource of support and inspiration throughout their lives. By combining “Mish” from mish-mish and “Ka” fromSara’s laughter, the brand name “Meshkaa” was born.
